Medium and heavy action rods 6 1/2' to 7.'
Reels: Any salt water reel
capable of releasing at least 200 meters of 20 LB test line.
Berkeley, Big Game, Stren, Ande and High Impact are preferred.
Lines: 17
to 20 lb test. Stren High impact, Berkley Big Game Inshore and
Ande.
Leaders: We
use the secondary leader of fluorocarbon (15 to 20 lb.) and a
leader of steel.
Lures:
Bomber mullet; Bomber heavy duty and Bomber Magnums (Long A
models in silver and chartreuse and blue); Rapalas Magnum
models floating and countdown: Colors are: Red Head, Green
Mackerel. Blue Mackerel. Silver and Dorado. Also, Microlure
Top Dog; Saltwater Zara Spooks; Bagely Finger Muller; Jigs and
Spoons (Jigs in yellow and white, spoons in silver); Yo- Zuri
Cristal minnow and Popper Hydro Magnum.
