My third trip with you to Cuba was the best. Everywhere we went, the
sights were spectacular. Everywhere we ate, the food was extraordinaire.
The open air dinner and entertainment hosted by La Habanos at Fort de la Cabana
was super; La Ferminia Restaurante and El Aljibe were outstanding; and the seven
course meal, ten year old port, twenty year old conjac, and cigars at Fidel's
benefit cigar auction dinner would titillate the taste buds of any gourmet.
I thoroughly enjoyed the guided tour of the cemetery of Havana. The tombs
told stories of the history of Cuba through the voice of the elderly Cuban
gentleman who walked us through. But without question, the highlight of
the week was the cigar auction and seeing Fidel himself in person. He is a
most dynamic personality. Thank you for another wonderful fully hosted
week on the forbidden island.
