and Tackle for salt water fishing in Cuba
This program was created especially for
our clients by Sr. Samuel Yera (Cuba's Black Bass & salt water
fishing champion and, Last Frontier Expedition's guide). But, as
Samuel says, "Feel free to create your own personal safari and
fishing opportunity!" Wing shooting options are available October
15 - March 15 each year. Minimum (5) group members.
Program
Day One -
Arrive in Havana Cuba. Private airport transfers.
Check into the classic, five star, Hotel Nacional De Cuba. Welcome
cigar and cocktail reception. USA citizens will depart Cancun, Mexico
via Aerocaribe (Mexicana) Airlines at either 12:30 PM or 3:50 PM.
(included in the price).
Day Two - Breakfast. Breakfast. Private tour of the Partagas
cigar factory followed by cigar and cocktail with Partagas President,
Sr. Abel Diaz. Lunch at Hemingway's favorite "haunt,"
Restaurante El Bodeguita del Medio. Afternoon city tour. Dinner at
Havana's most popular Restaurante El Aljibe.
Day Three - Depart (4) hours via air-conditioned van for the
off shore (44 KM) island of Santa Maria. Private charter AN2 Russian
biplane (2 hours transit at 3,000 feet elevation) an option. Please
inquire about cost. Check into the incomparable Las Brujas Lodge.
Individual, very spacious, five star, ocean front cabins! Lunch and
meet the guides. Afternoon flats or spin fishing session. These are
world class tarpon and "big fish" spin fishing waters.
Dinner and welcome reception at the lodge.
Day Four - Breakfast. Morning fishing session. Lunch. Afternoon
fishing session. "Days catch dinner at the lodge."
Day Five - Breakfast. Morning fishing session. Lunch. Afternoon
fishing session. Options include: Visit to ship wreck; snorkeling;
wind surfing, touring the Keys on scooters or simply lounging on the
seven mile, nearly deserted beach with a tropical drink in hand.
Day Six - Breakfast. Morning fishing session. Lunch. Depart for
Havana. Check into the Hotel Nacional De Cuba. Dinner in the garden
court of Mansion La Ferminia.
Day Seven - Breakfast. Day in Havana. No schedule. Unlimited
options including: Golf at the historic Havana Diplomats Golf Club;
Marlin fishing; Skeet shooting; World class baseball (seasonal); Cock
fights (seasonal); Scuba or individual excursions. Dinner At the
elegant and private Club Havana (formerly the Biltmore Yacht Club).
Day Eight - Breakfast. Depart Havana, Cuba. End of services.
USA citizens will depart Havana for Cancun, Mexico at either 8:00 AM
or 3:50 PM. End of services.

Cancun, Mexico airport tax ($12.00)
Air to Cuba for non USA citizens.
Excess baggage charges.
Marlin fishing in Havana ($80.00 per person. (4) persons per boat).
Golf at the Havana Diplomats Club ($45.00 includes green fees, clubs
and caddy).
Scuba at Club Havana ($55.00 for a two tank dive session).
